1) Why did you get into broadcasting? NO lie I was dating a girl whos father was the Program Director and he called me in a pinch to fill in one friday night. And the rest is history.
2) What is your most memorable radio moment? I have no singular on air radio moment. My favorite are moments. Moments when someone comes up and says “I listen to you” or Say they heard something I said.
3) What is your personal motto? Wheels Forward … smile
4) If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? Tie my shoes again
5) If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what album would it be? Styx The grand Illusion.
6) What song might someone catch you singing in the shower? Rubber Ducky
7) What else should we know about you? That I make mistakes… and I try to own them. I have never been perfect and I never want to be. I just wanna be the best possible me I can be. I have been a BIG part of Equinox Broadcasting for over 25 years! I was equally a big part of announcing the AHL hockey games at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for about as long!
My claim to fame (besides the obvious) is winning the NYS Chili Championships in 2004.
Other hobbies including playing drum set for the band “Hot Dogs and Gin”, and other various groups. I’ve introduced on stage music artists such as Styx, Meatloaf, ZZ TOP, Foreigner, Stone Temple Pilots, Molly Hatchett, Chubby Checker, Donna Summer, Frankie Valli, Gary Lewis, and Bret Michaels. Comedian Sam Kinison, and more.
I really enjoy D.I.Y. and takeing care of my kitty cats. (all rescues!!!)
