Joan Jett doesn’t give a damn if canceling shows gives her a bad reputation.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer has called off the shows she was due to perform in September while she recovers from recent surgery. A note on her Instagram Story says that she’s “undergone orthopedic surgery on a fractured vertebrae” due to a “recent injury,” and on the advice of her doctors, she “will not be able to perform” at the dates.
